Welcome to W. L Radney Junior High!  

W. L Radney Junior High has 562 students ranging from 6th through 8th grade.  Our staff includes over 50 certified staff members. Additionally, we provide multiple extracurricular activities including athletics and clubs.

We are truly excited to have you join our Wildcat family. Our mission is to inspire hope and create pathways to student and community success. It is our sincerest belief that a student’s journey should include great explorations that help them find their path.

 W. L Radney Junior High is proudly accredited, and all of our teachers are committed to providing the best instruction in their respective areas. Our school community believes in providing our students with the best educational experience possible. 

We strongly encourage your involvement in your child’s education, as a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and students creates the most supportive and successful learning environment. Please be sure to maintain regular contact with your child’s teacher. We also invite you to become actively involved by joining the  W. L Radney Junior High Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).

We are a Title I district, offering district- and school-based Title I services. Our Title I plan (including the family involvement plan) was developed by a committee and is available for review in the Central Office and the school’s parent engagement center. Throughout the school year—and especially during the annual Title I meeting—information about the plan will be shared with parents. The plan is evaluated each spring and fall using test data and survey results. These federally funded services are designed to support the academic success of all students.

The Parent Handbook and Compact provide important information about our school’s policies and procedures. We encourage you to refer to it regularly throughout the year.
